Last month I was in the hospital for four days, two infections and lots of antibiotics.  Got out and got  a virus which affected my normally controlled asthma.  Prednisone for that.  Finally feeling better.  I just wonder if this is part of being 91 years old.

The weather is not helping. Rainy just about every day, cold, windy. The Miata is still waiting for a nice top down drive.

My decision four years ago to quit riding was probably a good one. Decreased physical ability might've caused an accident for me.  The ability of the body continues to amaze me with the different little aches and pains and other stuff . Right now, my knees are working somewhat decent but tomorrow might be a different story.

Altogether, still not a bad life. The bitching seems to be part of it but i can still think straight, I have wonderful vision, and I can go to my son's house and take in the Valkyire while talking motorcycles.

I spend a lot of time thinking about all the memories I've accumulated, most of the time, in the early morning hours when i can't sleep.

Hell! i'm still here and in a working mode . That's what counts!

Wayne, I'm 20 years behind you and I'm not done riding yet. Your Miata rides are great. I use to race a Sunbeam Tiger in the 70's. Maybe I'll get a Miata someday. I have a friend (my age) who keeps joking when he says "Don't get old. You won't like it". It's good to see your attitude hasn't gotten old yet. Mine either.

Hey Wayne, good to hear things cleared up, here's hoping you'll get out and about in the Miata again real soon. Just stay away from golf cart paths. (you're never gonna live that down) I'm still hoping to get out on the road again, prefer it not be alone but we don't control those things. If I ever do, we can sit and sip again, meanwhile solving the nation's problems.  Wink

Wayne,

I've found that everything is a bit better when I moan and groan... a little bitching and carping doesn't hurt either!  Wink  You've far exceeded most of your contemporaries, and many of mine!!! Congrats on still being active and alert, sound of mine and fairly sound of body... You are what the rest of us aspire to be!!!
