Hi from Grand Forks BC  Heading down to Inzane for the first time and looking forward to it!  I am just in the process of putting the finishing touches on my new to me last fall Interstate.  I have tried other highway pegs over the years on other Valks that I have had and now I am looking at Mick O Pegs.  Anybody going to Inzane that have them on your ride?  I am really not sure about dropping $500 Can. and thought there might be some there that I could look at.  Pics on the internet on Valks are few and far between and I am just concerned about how often I would have to go on and off the pegs for every little corner.  Thanks Lyle

Yup, I've got Mick-O's on my Interstate, and will be at Inzane... I suspect there will be many.

I do let them up if I'm in twisties just out of habit, haven't pushed 'em to see how far I can make it, but generally if it's twisty enough I'm worried about the Mick-O's it's twisty enough I want my feet on my main control pegs anyway...

I love mine but absolutely lift one foot when leaning.
Interstate sweepers will make my early warning system kick in (my heels are the first thing to drag). I won't be at Inzane, regretfully, but these are by far my favorite accessory (after my Sena 20).

The mounting system is very adjustable; I'm sure a taller rider would have a different installation angle/position than mine...probably scraping sooner. I typically only use them to stretch out on the interstate and have them adjusted low such that my legs are nearly straight. I occasionally raise my buttocks from the seat and almost STAND on them to ease my lower back.

I bought mine gently used from a member (thanks again Dan!) and depending on your finances....are worth every penny, IMO. The outside edges now show witness marks from many scrapes. I've never scraped them in the stowed position.

Due to my laziness, my Mick-O-Pegs have a lot of scrape wear. (I simply forget about them and the foot position until they start to drag).  Having said that, they were one of the best additions I made to my Fat Lady.   Wonderful Footpegs for long distance rides.    I highly recommend them.  Those who suggest they will drag you down simply have no idea about what they are talking about.

Er, yeah..... if anyone is dragging their Mick-O pegs when they're stowed, they've got FAR bigger problems, IMHO.....

 cooldude

If you drag Mick-O-Pegs while stowed, you are most likely headed for an abrupt dismount..

Not an experience I care to repeat.... Shocked
