An earlier time when TV took three characters of different colors and sexes, put them into a show where they all struggled to cooperate in solving crimes in spite of their frictions, disagreements, and cultural separations.
They attempted to resolve them in a spirit of the 60's-70's (or so the producers hoped).

She had to be cool; she was married to Quincy Jones for some time. Cool

the daughters are very much alive, both in their 40s. the poster stated peggy was a fox, and so are her daughters like she was.

I rather liked the comment on her daughters. I would expect nothing less from Peggy Lipton! She was great looking and passed it on.
Am sorry for their loss.
