What is your latest personal project Grumpy?

Grumpy

Right now, 100 feet of board on board new fence. I am about done in, lot of work building from scratch, and hauling old fence off. Made 5 runs to the land fill, and looks like that much more to get rid of.  And at war with the crack heads next door.

Oh boy. Maybe we should have a Valk party and they can see your crazy friends - with guns.

Grumpy

I wasted a couple rounds the other day, one crack head needed an attitude adjustment, came in my back yard and said he was going to beat the he%# out of me. Sheriffs dept paid me a visit, and more or less gave me a pat on the back. Said I did the right thing, and hauled one of them off to jail.

Cameras?

Open carry on your own property?

Grumpy

Cameras, 8 of them, and I do carry, also have CCW.  At my age was not going to fight any one, As the deputy said, surprised you did not drop him. Would have been a justifiable action on my part.

I've had (next door) neighbors from hell a couple times, once for 15 years.

It's like some kind of never ending curse.

You just can't do what you want to.  Especially after you've called the cops, zoning, health department, and animal control so many times they know your first name.

Hey, I was at the movies, it must have been a mass suicide, and I don't own a 12 gauge.  How did you know it was a 12 gauge?   Lucky guess?       ;D

Despite what the cops say, you have to consider the well documented bad blood history, and a District Attorney's office.

We have had hell here for a while, but Sheriff dept and DEA are involved now. There have been so many code violations and unpaid fines, the property has a county lien on it. It may shortly be taken by the county for unpaid fines. I have had the police here so many times, we know each others names etc.

If so maybe buy the place,  the house in front of the cottage with the large lot just sold and we noticed a couple maybe early mid 60 fixing up the place and we were thinking sweet maybe a new coat of paint and clean it up - well maybe what was needed to move in, after that it is now Sanford and son.  Absolutely junk yard.  Oh well it is Zephyrhills and inexpensive.

Pappy!

Maybe an outdoors weapons cleaning party? Right along the fence line?

Among all other precautions, if they do get evicted or forced out, be prepared for a final payback.

And leave those cameras up even if they do leave.

In the mean time, get to be friends with the County lien (enforcement) department people; buy them  lunch or something.

Best of luck.

Cameras are on a dvr, and also upload to the cloud. Always have the last 30 days available.
I have some friends in code enforcement and the sheriffs office. Last update I had was most will be sent away on drug charges. But I will be glad when it is over.
