A while back I posted some comments on 9H ceramic products. I never did buy any full on Pro/Consumer level 9H coatings...I did try a Chinese Amazon Mr Fix"9H" product. I did not use it on anything but sample items...Phony Snake Oil Krap!!...sent it back.

Real 9H, when poured on a flat surface will turn into a hard clear crystal like blob. Mr Fix just stayed liquid. 9H is a pencil Hardness scale number....anyway enough background.

I came across a Youtube Review of this product and was impressed at what it took to burn through it with polishing compounds!!

So I bought some from a local Detail Supply Store. 24oz-$29 CDN Pesos.
I applied some on my Fairing this morning after a clay bar and power polish to remove swirls and fine scratches.
After applying, waiting a few minutes and buffing off...it is pretty darn glossy and smooth.
This stuff goes on very easy, and buffing off with a micro towel is effortless. cooldude
Tomorrow I am going to apply another coat. This product can be "stacked", but only after 24hrs cure time.

I've polished my rims, so I am pretty sure this stuff will keep them from going dull as well.

Pictures?

Thanks for the feed back.

The cheap Chinese stuff, how did you weather it, or are you basing it upon reviews?

The Chinese stuff was fake crap. It would not cure after application to practice panels that I experimented on. Who knows what the stuff would have done if applied to my car or bike.
Genuine 9H Ceramic Coatings take a lot of care when applying and if not wiped down properly can leave ridges that need machine buffing compound to correct. It is a very hard silica material when cured. Some Pro Coatings are only sold to certified/trained applicators. More user friendly ones can be bought on Amazon. The shop I bought the CMX from will not sell certain high end 9h Ceramic Coatings to walk-in customers.

The Mothers CMX is really easy to work with and leaves a deep gloss after wiping down.
Mothers has a winner with this product...BTW the car is being done right after I finish the bike. The biggest job is surface correction with the clay bar and machine polishing before applying the coating to the bike. The car is new so no fine scratches or swirl marks yet.
Will send pictures after I apply the last coat to the fairing.

Photo as promised with one layer of CMX...FYI additional coats added extra color depth to my fairing.
I clay barred and machine polished this polycarbonate car hood rock deflector, masked it off and applied a coat of CMX and buffed it after a few minutes. The fine scratch/swirl correction took about 10 minutes, the CXM application including a few minutes waiting time...6-8 minutes + -
This is not like wax...it will last a lot longer.

Now let me guess, the left side was the CMX? I can see less "graying" of the reflection.

I'm trying to figure this stuff out. Since your first post, I actually bought some of that same Fix 9H, that you said is fake. I've been using it a little, but haven't tested it (water) yet.

Yes, the left portion of the deflector is coated.

There is so much fake online 9h ceramic out there. If you pour some of it on a flat surface and let it cure it should be hard and clear. Ebay and Amazon don't vet the products they showcase, it would be impossible to do. They are effectively just giant online flea markets, so buyer beware.

Anyway...I have paint corrected my fairing with a 'course cut' clay bar to reduce fine scratches and swirls and then machine polished it with Meguires Ultimate Compound. Even after polishing the paint it still didn't show real depth. After applying the CMX the finish, especially the black center portion really popped and the fine scratches that still remained virtually disappeared.
I tried to capture that look with my phone camera but it really didn't do it justice, that's why I did the rock deflector picture. The deflector is polycarbonate which is soft and easily scratched, so I did the clay bar/polish. It was almost back to a 'new look' but the CMX just made all the difference.
Recently I replaced my windshield so I am going to experiment with the old  one to see how much clarity I get with the CMX. The new one has no anti scratch film so I am really careful when cleaning it, however no matter what, it will get fine swirls/scratches eventually, so this might be the 'fix'.

BTW...I re-applied the CMX to the whole deflector before the CMX cured on the left half!!
