Sightglass level on 2000 gl1500ct

Where should the oil level be on my side glass oh, I changed the oil and filter with Honda oil I still don't have any oil level in the sight glass

No not the dipstick, I have a window made out of a glass behind the oil dipstick about 2 inches tothe left,

I think you might be looking at the rear brake reservoir.

I have to wear reading glasses for everything these days. When checking your oil level, remember to have the bike upright, and the dipstick just sitting on top. Not screwed in.
