I'm gonna get the seals and fork oil on the bike replaced next weeks and I'm kicking around the idea of changing out the OEM  springs with the progressives. I've heard several different opinions on these springs. One thing that seems to pop up is they are shorter than the OEM springs. Does this mean that they will bring the front end down lower? I'm curious cause I already have modified the rake and trail on the bike by changing the tires to 120/70 (front), 180/60 (rear), and 11.5" rear shocks. It rides good as is but I don't want to bring the front end down any further since it's already pretty low. Thoughts?

I've installed a few sets of those. The small reduction in length makes no difference. The stock springs sag when you sit on the bike. Prog's don't sag as much so riding height is the same.

Sandy must be right. I didn't know they were shorter and I don't notice any difference except for a better  ride. I was told they would be quieter if installed upside down.  Do I did that and have no complaints
