I made it back to the Philadelphia area early Tuesday afternoon. It was an adventure riding back from InZane, my longest bike ride to date, over 1800 miles. I was 7 mins late meeting up with Short leg and his friend and they gone, I was late, no one to blame but myself. One thing I have learn about this group is someone always steps up if there is a need. I went to breakfast and ran into Dennis and Sheila, they invited to ride along with them for a period of time. We stopped for gas and a short break, there we met Daddy Don and his son Dwayne. The father and son team were heading home to Tennessee near Knoxville, by way of I-40 east, Dennis handed me off to them. I enjoyed riding and spending time with Don and Dwayne, we would ride hard all day and tell stories at night. After two days we parted ways and I made my way to I-81 north, stopped for the night in Bristol VA. On Monday I made my way to Millersburgs PA, 47 miles above Harrisburg, to visit an army buddy for the night. I arrived home around 12:30pm Tuesday, I was beat. I wish to thank everyone who made this a great event for me from Bob Smith and his Attic Rat’s performance package, Scott (LTD) for our daily rides, the many member who spent time with me sharing tall tales and funny stories and most of all the staff who worked so hard on putting this event together.
