Some years ago, some dingbat rear ended the wife's Dakota truck and really smacked up the back end. (broad daylight, dry, clear day) (happily, her front end and radiator was really trashed)  The wife said she jumped out of her car with the cell phone still in her hand, and when the wife commented on it, the dingbat lied she was calling the police.... she wasn't.

Being a truck, it was completely driveable, and it took about 10 days to get it in the shop.

So I did the same thing, though a variation on the theme.

I drew one of those Kilroy cartoons across the back.



But instead of Kilroy Was Here..... I wrote CELL PHONE DRIVER WAS HERE (and made the eyes all mean and nasty)

And found a heavy aftermarket steel diamond-plate rear bumper to replace the wimpy OE bumper, cheaper than the Dodge replacement.

I take it you've already taken pictures and had the insurance adjuster see the bike.

Plus have gotten the police to write up an ACCIDENT report in case the dirtball does not pay nor have insurance lying to the police.
