road trip

                 Had a good 1200 mile ride with my brother, left Chicago area road through Indiana into Ohio then up to the lake Erie coast. followed the coast on hwy 11 up and into Penn. Stayed on the coast towards New York. got into the state but then took the cut off rather than getting on the tollway. road some in New York, then headed back into Penn. The Allagainie (sp) river valley was nice riding except for some minor construction. Rested for a day let the storm go by, and with other weather heading for Chicago area we headed home. Left Aug. 12th was back home Aug. 16th. all in all it was a nice easy 7 day trip. added three more states to my map of states I have ridden in on motorcycles. Got to figure someplace new to go next year.

               all west of the Mississippi except Oregon, Florida, and far east coast states. May go to east coast through middle US next year. or maybe Canada instead.   will have to see what comes next.
