Fuel leak on the T connection to the Carbs

I figured I would try this on the FL sight first.

The T connector is leaking (rear and middle Carbs right side), I know they have O rings and am hoping this is the issue. Question is can I disconnect the T by loosening the rear Carb or do they both have to come off?

I took mine out and did the entire kit.

Do you think I get it done by loosing the rear carb only?

No way Dan, best you could try is remove the fuel line to that "T" and get some lubricant either seafoam or Marvel Mystery oil injected into the carb housing at both ends of the T and rotate the T back and forth. I've never tried this but it may work. Also add MM oil, an ounce per gallon of fuel to the tank. IF any of this works it is only temporary, a full rebuild is in your future.

I had the same problem with leakage on mine. I bought the complete o-ring kit from Redeye, pulled carbs and rebuilt them.  Following is the link to the kit I bought, however they don't appear to be available right now.

Although I do not recommend doing this.....you can just keep the carbs full of fuel for a day or so and there is a good chance the alcohol in the fuel will swell the o-rings enough to create a seal again. Lesa's bike was this way until I did every single rubber part in them. Got away with it for a little while before having to bite the bullet.

Thank you all for the feedback. Looks like its' time to break out my trusty 7 pc Sears ratchet set and get to work.

One last question. Since I'm not mucking with the internals of the Carbs will I need to sync once re-installed?

I couldn't tell you if it would be absolutely necessary, however I did sync mine once I got everything back together.

You will be separating the carbs so the answer is...yes!
