                I am distressed when I walk into-pick a venue-in a summer month halfway thru summer and see young people about in shorts and short sleeves that most of them are sporting winter pale. I know I'm not outside near enough but here lately high heat and high humidity bother me more than it used to. Very rarely see the outdoor basket ball courts in use. Very rarely see young folks out walking. When I went to school the bike racks were mostly full. IF there is a bike in the bike rack the odds are good that the bike belongs to a teacher or someone in admin. And when you Do see the little darlins walking-pick a venue-odds are they might/will run into you cuz they are playing on some electronic device. Those that have run into you at-pick a venue-will more likely than not drive their vehicle the same way!  Now ain't THAT just a loverly thought!  RIDE SAFE.

When my girls were still home, a couple of them that shared a room asked if they could have their room carpeted. I looked in and told them they had the most expensive floor covering in town....all were high dollar brands of clothes strung all over. They didn't see the humor of it at the time so I suggested they hold their opinion until they had kids of their own. Years later I was reminded of that day re. their own brood.
