Harley windshield on a Valkyrie

   I know Clearview has windshields for us but there are a lot of different stiles of windshields for Harleys. Has anyone installed a Harley shield in a Valkyrie?

I think, only on a Harley Bat Wing fairing mounted on a std (or tourer, but the tourer already comes with a nice shield).  Nick in FL has the complete Harley Road Glide fairing (and shield) on his Valk.   

The thing is, for just a shield, you need shield mounts to fit a Honda Valk front end, and I believe the top fork diameter (45mm) for them is wider than (all or most) Harleys.

You get some proper mounts (like from Memphis Shades), you might be able to cobble up any old shield to them (with a 9" headlight cutout).  After drilling holes and cutting plastic, it will probably look ..... poorly. 

Cardboard can be made to work.... but with a suspect longevity.

Bob Dron makes a fairing for the Road King. Several of us (myself, Dragbars, TnT, and others) have installed one of these on a Standard or Tourer by modifying the mounting brackets then using a set of Memphis Shades fork clamps to attach it to the bike. Of course, the Tourer's windshield and brackets must be removed in order to mount the Dron part.

I like mine in hot weather, for when I want something to protect the gauges but still provide airflow to the cockpit area.

A few members have done similar with an OEM Harley Bat Wing from the earlier Electra Glide models.
