From his press conference, it sounded like AL-BAGHDADI used his suicide vest to blow himself and 3 of his children up after getting trapped in a tunnel.


Kudos to Delta Force operators for zero US human casualties (one military working dog was injured) and a successful operation to get rid of one of the bad guys.

As far as Pelosey not being briefed beforehand - too bad. Operations like this need to be kept to as few people as necessary to be successful. The other countries militaries were notified on the way so they wouldn't hamper the op, yet so they would know that the op was not against them.

The operation that killed ISIS leader al-Baghdadi was named after Kayla Mueller, a 26 yr old American hostage who was captured in 2013 by ISIS, tortured, abused, repeatedly raped by al-Baghdadi himself and then murdered.

Kayla Mueller refused to renounce her Christian faith while being an ISIS captive. May her memory be a reminder of the evil she endured and yet she stood firm. Today we remember her courage..
