Looks more like the Indian to me. Indian may be getting into their market.
Whatever....imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

F6BANGER

Almost looks like a V-Twin Katana

Make that two new bikes.  I see they're also bringing out an adventure bike called the Pan America.  The specs for the engine (1250 cc, 60 degree, water cooled V-Twin) sound a lot like the V-Rod.

From what I've read and seen out on the road, adventure bikes are about the only bright spot in the motorcycle industry.  This seems like a very good move for Harley.  I'll bet both of these sell far better than the LiveWire!

Unless Harley does what it has always done and prices it bikes  high.  The older bar and shield group is dying off and getting to old to as much and at their age most are not as prone to by high priced baggers.  The younger buyers going to the adventure and hooligan bikes do not have near as much loyalty to Harley.   The Japanese and Italians and Germans have been making these style of bikes for quite some time and have all the latest tech and proven engines and capabilities and the young crowd knows this, and will probably priced lower - we shall see.   Harley has or is opening a plant in Thailand to produce these kind of bikes for the Asian market as their is no tariff or very low one for the other Asian Countries, particularly India in which 13.6 million motorcycles are projected to sell this year and that excludes mopeds and scooters.  Royal Enfield is doing great.  Harley may sell less than 3000 bikes in Indian this year.  They want to go the route of cheaper non bagger bikes, but boy do they have their work cut out.  I do wish them good luck.

You assumed I referred to that particular bike.

In looking at the engine similarities I was actually thinking the Indian Scout.
