Portland this year will be Saturday February 22nd.  We'll arrive in town on Friday the 21st.  More details to follow but I wanted to peg the dates.  Salvage BBQ - noon.  Accommodations at the Portland Harbor hotel

Well that was very interesting to say the least...
I just got off the phone making reservations at the Portland Harbor Hotel...
I was asked if I was affiliated with the crowd that took 'multiple pens' last year,
and also affiliated with the 'noisy crowd' gathered at the fire pit !!!
Imagine what the ruckus would have been had Un'ca Bernz been there !!! 

All booked for Sat night, with a garden view....

All set for Sat night & a Garden room    Got a little rowdy last year for people with a Garden view.  Who caused all the noise so that after a few warnings, the manager shut off the fire pit an hour early?

I know we have been at the PHH for many years now.  One year we tried they new Hyatt and the consensus was that it lacked the ambiance of the PHH.  Laura and I have always secured a room that is conducive to gathering but the current outdated nature of the executive suite at the PHH has us looking for new accommodations.

With that said, please take a look at the Press Hotel which is just up the street on Exchange.  Let me know your thoughts for a change in 2021

I would love to go e you a definite yes for two but, Kathy has chemo on Thursday. She insists she will be fine to dine Friday night. So, count us as two knowing we won't be sure till Friday morning. Best I can do.
