Had a friend post a frightening climate statistic today. Today was the hottest and coldest day of the entire decade so far.

Climate has been changing since this planet was born. Not likely to stop anytime soon.
All the propaganda about it is a "dung heap"
Can we do things to improve air quality? Sure, but doubtful it's going to change the climate. IMHO

I don't know about that.  If we corked or shut up all the liberal hysteria worldwide (on all subjects), we might end up with a true global change for the better.   :)

I was thinking about this the other day after seeing some nitwit on tv saying the world is going to end because of it.
Plants use C02 during the day and then put off 02 at night. Wouldn't more C02 be helpful to plants and to us? I think this is the planet's way of adjusting to over population. I inject C02 into my aquarium for my plants. I inject a ton of it. I keep it right around 30 ppm . The fish thrive, the plants thrive, and you can watch the oxygen bubbles coming off the leaves late in the day. This is why scientists are saying the planet is more green than ever right now. The plants are thriving. Don't  tell my wife though, she can kill a fake plant overnight.  :2funny:

My wife has a little sign that goes in our garden: "Life began in a garden"

I'm resisting graffiti-ing it to add: "... and it ended here."

-Mike "we'll try again in a few months, though..."

:2funny: wish I had all the money back we have spent on plants over the years. Probably enough to buy another valkyrie.

sad part is. we have people that are convinced that we can cure global warming by giving the government more money.

And give up all coal, gas, fracking, electricity, steam, nuclear, and cars, and go to wind, solar, bicycles and and happy thoughts.   In addition to the bazillions of taxes and regulations.

Time to go get a gas guzzler to help green up the trees  :cooldude:

I thought the last guy already took care of all the gas guzzlers, you know, when he helped drive sales of Toyota and Honda while cutting the U.S. companies in half, I mean saving them.

Speaking of climate change  :2funny:

Old Maxine needs to coordinate with Shifty and perhaps they can meet these blowers of whistles together.   He is still waiting to get those pictures of naked Trump this group contacted him about some months ago.  :uglystupid2:

On a side note I have just cancelled our plans to Holiday next winter in the Chooga Chonga Islands.   Don't need no stinkin climate change to spoil our good time.

Interesting article from Lysander Spooner University.

"Glacier National Park Quietly Removes Its 'Gone by 2020' Signs"

"May 30, 2019. St. Mary, Montana. Officials at Glacier National Park (GNP) have begun quietly removing and altering signs and government literature which told visitors that the Park's glaciers were all expected to disappear by either 2020 or 2030."
