Now - I'm not saying any of you are unsafe - far from it. We've had members who wrestled with the idea that maybe they are not up to riding anymore, and all the comments were supportive for them to have the courage to make that decision. I'd gladly go riding with any of you.

Gryphon Rider

When I was a riding instructor I came across more than a few who I thought shouldn't be on motorcycles period, but I figured their results on the school's final test would tell them what I was reluctant to say.

There are others who can ride okay, but whom I would rather not lead on a group ride because their riding style and attitude is not suitable for group riding.

Thank You.

I am guilty of Road Rage from time to time and the throttle on my Valk is one of my greatest weaknesses.

(My points will be gone this May).

I'm sure it is a good thing that I am a tad older and I have made it to 58 years of age, I have surely mellowed in both driving and riding. I do reserve the right to dabble when far from people (traffic).   Good listen!   :cooldude:

Thanks Scoop,  I do like his videos and have learned some from them over the years

Unlike many of you I always (even after adv msf) consider myself a below average rider, and I therefore ride alone most of the time so as not to slow others down unless I am leading a ride.  G-Man does not think so but I do.

It is a good thing that having familiarity with a road allows one to maintain a healthier line and speed as I never have a complaint leading local rides in NY

Odd that I am never worried riding in city traffic even 3 lanes with trucks and crazy illegal and not illegal people driving livery cars, but wet mountain roads where I can not see beyond the turn raise my pressure some for sure

And high winds   :o :o :o   I do not like them at all. Like the Mighty Mac in the afternoon, yikes

a man has to know his limitations, road rage is not one of mine fortunately.

keep practicing and riding especially in different conditions
