Topless dairy industry protesters crashed the stage at a Bernie Sanders rally

Hmm...  It seems this race is getting more interesting.   I hope HRC wasn't one of the protestors.  ;)

I guess I don't keep up very well.  What have they against the dairy industry?

It's inconvenient for cows.

I know..... Udderly ridiculous, but they evidently have a beef about it.

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

I'm not sure they could support the claim of inconvenience.  Cattle in the wild would be at considerably more risk and shorter lifespan than those protected on dairy farms.

I object to the labeling of topless protesters.  Even with the blurring it is apparent the protester was adequately topped.   ;)

One of the great ironies I find is that one of the most surefire ways for a species to not go extinct is to be delicious or make delicious things (Or for cattle, do both!) for the dominant species.

I am still trying to figure out what "topless" has to do with the dairy industry?

Boobs == Udders I guess?

Or it's a way to get attention?

More likely the 2nd one than the first...

They both produce milk?   I'm thinking Serk is right, an attention getter although I totally missed it (until someone else brought it to my attention), I was so intently listening to Bernie.......

I got that,, but they are protesting the production of milk. Exposing their boobs seems counter productive to their cause. I think it was just to draw attention and had nothing to do with the issue, but hey , if they want to flash their wares then I aint stopping them.

Didn't mean to suggest you didn't get it.  That is why it ended with a question mark.

They were showing that they identify with bovine females, that they are alike.  Cows have milk delivering utters.  Female humans have milk delivering teats.  The attention drawing of teats, certainly more than utters, is an added benefit to their cause.  The display of similarity fails.  The added benefit becomes the primary value.

Your expertise and wisdom of such topics is always inspiring.   :cooldude:  It's comforting to know that we have a person to go to for such enlightenment.   ;)
