Here's one I'm not getting:   (a two-barrelled revolver)   :crazy2:

https://stdgun.com/s333-thunderstruck/

I'm all for innovation, but this seems like......... innovation run amok.  Trigger pull is measured at 23lbs, and requires two fingers (for most people).  But I guess the two shots per pull makes up for jerking the thing off target.  ;D

My free money will just go in general revenue;  I may give it to a worthy cause.

..

I have to wait for a paper check in the mail.

I didn't trust the IRS web site to be hacker proof to give them my bank details.

EDIT.

Maybe they will use my Social Security payment info?

I'm planning to buy at least one S&W revolver and one Marlin 1894 carbine this year.

I really want a desert eagle in 44 mag.  :o

It was one of my "bucket list" guns, it's nice to have it, but honestly I hardly ever shoot it...

But it is fun when I do!

They have a lightweight version out now.

Serk: do you have the 44 magnum or the 50AE version?

I heard it is a nice pistol but may be a bit finicky (i.e. requires full jacketed bullets or will foul the piston, won't properly cycle if not perfectly clean, etc).

I've got the .44 Magnum, and one of the earlier revisions too (I.E. NOT the newer one where you can just buy the .50 AE barrel and swap it out.)

Went with the .44 since the ammo is a big easier to come by and they're all kinda ridiculous anyway, and for over the top "Because I Can" power I've got my S&W 500 Magnum revolver.

And yes, it's very finicky. Not so much on being clean, although I do keep it clean, but on ammo. It runs fine on any factory ammo I've fed it, HP, SP, FMJ etc, but I've never managed to work up a reliable hand load.

Admittedly though I didn't spend TOO much time trying, I got tired looking for the brass in the woods after shooting it.

It's very cool on the action, the locking lug looks like it came right out of an AR15... (Which makes sense, since the operating system is basically a smaller version of the direct gas impingement of an AR)

@Serk: the DEagle may be finicky but it is as bad ass as it gets.

Savago, don't forget that handguns are are only there to fight your way to your long guns.   :)

One of those will cost as much as a nice rifle/carbine, and the D Eagle is over half as heavy as that rifle.

@Jess: you are absolutely right!

Like I said, my priority list for now is:
a) Marlin 1894
b) S&W 686
c) A good rifle (considering the Tikka T3x in 6.5 creedmoor).
d) Fun range toys (e.g. DEagle, etc).

I split my guns up into different classes....

-Social Distancing
-Collector pieces
-Because I can

The DEagle is firmly in the "Because I can" category.

Brian I worked up a load years ago for my 44mag DE. Using a 220 grain Sierra "tournament" bullet with 20.5 grains of Accurate #9 powder and magnum pistol primers. That load is accurate and produces a big muzzle flash.

It also works real well in my Ruger "three screw" Super Blackhawk. Although I don't have the guts to shoot that in my 44mag Derringer. That might hurt a bit. I have worked up a lighter special load for that gun.
