Went to work at both her nursing jobs throughout this crap and I could see it was wearing on her. I could see it her face. I'm sure the stress left her somewhat immunocompromised. She developed a mild fever a couple weeks ago and tested positive. She went through some horrible days full of pain and fear. She told me one night that she never regretted a minute of the time we've been together so she must have had bouts of delirium as well. Thank goodness we have 2 Drs, 4 RNs, and 2 nursing students in the family that checked in and took care of her. She took the hydroxychloroquine and turned the corner right away. Had some good days and bad days over the last week+ and the last 2 days has all been good.

Lovely lady, great news that she overcame the "bug". I can read the "employee of the month" but can't tell where she works. Good for her, like Oss said...she's a keeper.

glad she is recovering well and kicked that virus out the door.

being in the healthcare industry nowadays is scary indeed hats off to all in that field currently.

My brothers kid is at a UW hospital as a nurse and they are made to wear full face shields and masks/gloves 24/7, same hospital a crazy person fired a shot in the waiting area entering the hospital before getting arrested a few weeks ago. She is around 6 months pregnant not a good time to get infected for sure. I suspect and hope she can take maternity leave a little earlier than planned due to this virus, will see?

I actually took the photo in question as I had the Sheriff pose with me, then Gary thought it
was cool and I took one of them while we were waiting for the ambulance That was either the 1st or 2nd Johnson City Inzane

G-Man was neither bad nor good on that occasion, however he (and most of us on that ride on 16 (?) did stay to make sure the jerk who had fallen and ruined that ride made it to the ambulance. Following that we all adjourned (fancy legal word meaning we moseyed on over) to Highbinder and LD's ranch where, if my failing memory serves me properly, I introduced Detn8r and Smokinjoe to 3 day old (very stale bisquits) bagels. The person who went down took advantage of G, my own and Don's charitable nature then reneged on his obligations and never came to another vrcc event. We are all better for his having left the group for many reasons

I am not sure if Joe broke a tooth or just hurt his jaw but it was close.... Detn8er still holds that against me
