Tire question

My 98 standard's rear tire won't pass inspection. I'm looking at all the 180/70R 16 tires. What does the 77H, 77V, and 77H stand for?
If it helps any, I won't be doing much highway cruising at all. Just back roads at 55-60 mph max.
