The police are FAR from perfect But the system is pretty f'd up.  

My black and in fact all of my clients have stories of no response even before covid19.   Seems most on the force want their 20 and then pension.  That is a shame. But I know some good officers and detectives but they feel they are the minority and they are right.

I saw that video and my comment is why did the shorter police officer attack the bystander to begin with?  I think Police officers have to have thicker skin thant that simply calling names is all he did am sure did not touch the officer so why does the officer feel the need to attack the person in the crowd?

Typical ghetto dude doing the video that is what disgustes me more so.   Really irks me to death cannot stand blacks or whites or whatever race talking ghetto.  Never been around it much in my sheltered life and glad I do not live near any of them.  Yah,  I never could be a police officer either...

NYC in the 70s ?   I remember, I had to work there at times throughout the late 70s to late 90s.

I'd like Mayor Rudy back. But. he's now saying that NYC is hopeless. I remember one member here saying how bad Rudy was for the city. I certainly liked what Rudy did for it.
