A man was killed in a motorcycle accident, but because he was positive for the virus, he was counted as a coronavirus death. The fact that such a thing could happen calls into question the entire reporting process, not just in Florida, but across the country. We've seen numerous examples of fudging the numbers by presuming COVID killed someone who had underlying conditions. Counting people who die in vehicular accidents takes that sketchy standard to a whole new level though.

"I don't think so. I have to double-check," Pino said. "We were arguing, discussing, or trying to argue with the state. Not because of the numbers -- it's 100...it doesn't make any difference if it's 99 -- but the fact that the individual didn't die from COVID-19...died in the crash. But you could actually argue that it could have been the COVID-19 that caused him to crash. I don't know the conclusion of that one."

Questions are being raised about Florida's coronavirus death toll reporting after a man who died in a motorcycle accident was listed in the COVID-19 death count.

Dr. Raul Pino, an Orange County health officer, told Fox 35 News that a supposed coronavirus victim in his 20s died in a motorcycle crash and didn't have any underlying conditions.

I know 2 people that have died from other reasons, but, were listed as the Kung Flu.

The stats are phony. There has to be a bigger reason.

Yes there is a bigger reason.  Its to instill fear and keep the economy in the toilet with the ultimate goal of not letting Trump win a second term.

The fact that there was no "remorse" or "concern" due to the inaccurate recording of cause of death supports this notion.

I think the poor guy was feeling sick and feverish.  He called the hospital first but on his ride there he blew a chunky green phlegm sneeze all over the inside of his face shield.  He couldn't see and slammed into an oncoming semi.  Obviously a COVID related death.  ;)

Well there ya go. Makes perfect sense.   ;D

What I heard over coffee this morning from a nurse was part of the reason for wrongfully reporting some of deaths from Kung Flu is due to insurance/money. If insurance doesn't cover all the costs, the feds will.

No question this happens, and the numbers are undoubtedly skewed.  I also have no doubt people have and will continue to die from COVID, at least in the near future.  It is what it is.
