I don't get A&E and I don't know what "Live PD" is, but I saw this
in the Wall Street Journal today...

Ratings for A&E Network have plummeted [50 percent!] since it canceled the hit police reality show "Live PD" on June 10

Those shows are mostly like... Village Idiots On Parade. 

Old drunks in their stained undershorts beating up their wives, and drug hoodlums running from the cops and hiding in the bushes (until the dogs get them).

Not what I call decent TV.  More like everyone slowing down at an accident scene.

But those shows do clearly demonstrate just how bad our good policemen's day to day lives really are.

I haven't contributed to cable/satellite TV ratings for about 17 years.
