I have a new (1500 miles of use) 205/65R16 Goodyear Assurance that I paid $125. landed for and will sell for $65.  including the shipping.  Here's the deal:  I'll be ordering my new M/C tire this 25th, unless they're closed, in which case it'll be on Monday the 28th.  I will be able to have the new tire mounted Jan. the 4th and would ship the "205" out the next day.  Anyone interested??  If so let me know and we'll work out the details.

I made a slight price error.  The tire cost me a total of $110.00, landed.  Still $65.00 including shipping ain't a bad deal.

Hey Earl, Yes! a heck of a deal!! I would be all over it since it helps U and me, and I'm just down the road from ya. But I can't see how it or any 205 tire would fit! I have just a 1/2" of clearance between the Driveshaft tube and 180/70 Venom. If I could get a word of encouragement that it may? I'll take it! I have the OEM wheel off my 99 Int doing nothing so the bike wouldn't be out of service if it didn't fit. Maybe that is the problem! I have a 97 style wheel on it now? Any words of wisdom anybody???

PS if this is viewed as a thread jack let me know and I'll delete.

I'm sure that you know that tire sizes are not exactly the same between brands.   I won't know until in the morning if I'll be working this Monday and/or Tuesday, but If you live pretty close, I wouldn't mind your taking a look while its still mounted to verify that it does not rub on the sides.  I didn't need to do the nut cage mod because of having progressive #416 air shocks.
