Prayers out from Western Colorado.  I've read your posts regarding T-bird over the years.  This man has been through so much, more than many could even imagine.  I pray these organs will give your good friend a new lease on life.

He's had another heart transplant before I'm thinking 14 years ago. The meds he had to take literally a handful at a time to keep his body from rejecting that heart is what's took its toll on his kidney.

Very true.   Often, those folks are unknown.   The only good thing they have is that part of a lost loved one is helping another person.

Yeah.... My mom's twin sister's only child....

The heart didn't match up as hoped .Talked to his wife in text she said too many complications with it to take the risk. He's back to sitting in the hospital waiting

Just another opportunity for prayer. Grateful they were wise enough to catch the issue before opening him up. It's got to be gut wrenching news for the whole family, a special prayer for them too.
