Austin / Central Texas Riders?

Hope everyone is well and surviving all the COVID-19 stuff and the hot summer!

I am located in Austin and fairly new to the forums here.  Have a 1999 Interstate with about 80K miles.

Just looking for folks that ride or know some great places to visit in CENTEX during the "cooler" months.

Also need some advice on getting my Kuryakyn clamps to mount without slipping.  Yes, they are 1".

I'm southwest of town not far from the Salt Lick.  There's plenty of great roads all around these parts and plenty of destinations.  I occasionally ride with folks from San Antonio, Boerne and Spring Branch.

Welcome......I'm a little further west of you.  I live right off of Ranch Road 335......one of the Three Sisters.  I'm very familar with this part of the Texas Hill Country (Ranch Roads 334/335/336/337/1050/377 to just name a few.  Ever want to venture out this way let me know.   I'm always looking for someone to ride with........Bob

I have the same bike for 6 years. I carry a wrench just for the hiqhway pegs. When they get knocked up or feel loose I retighten.  I also carry the allen wrench for the center screw that comes loose about every 10K. My 99 IS also has 80kmiles.
