The truth comes to light.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/09/27/us/donald-trump-taxes.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur

QuoteIn response to a letter summarizing The Times's findings, Alan Garten, a lawyer for the Trump Organization, said that "most, if not all, of the facts appear to be inaccurate" and requested the documents on which they were based. After The Times declined to provide the records, in order to protect its sources, Mr. Garten took direct issue only with the amount of taxes Mr. Trump had paid.

"Over the past decade, President Trump has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government, including paying millions in personal taxes since announcing his candidacy in 2015," Mr. Garten said in a statement.

Honestly, it's hard to know what to believe.   But, based on the NY Times obvious bias, I don't put a lot of stock in what they say.   This may be correct, hard to say, their record isn't the greatest ya know.   They were all over that Russian thing if you remember, ya know, the one where no proof was found. I'm sure DJT Enterprises or whatever his business is called employs several tax attorneys and accountants and use every aspect of the tax code to his benefit.   Personally, I don't blame him, he didn't write those tax codes and shouldn't pay a penny more than required, no American should.

It's also very interesting timing for the release of the "special information".  Don't ya think?

Edited:  Read the entire article twice, many accusations, lots of allegations but, for some reason, no real sources or proof provided.    It's amazing how much is anonymous.   I'm not about to suggest some of what was reported is true or false but, what?   I honestly doubt any of us know tax laws well enough to discuss it intelligently.

There's a lot of supposedly informed people throwing crap at DJT but, their proof is not provided.   All of the accusations may be true but, their credibility was lost long ago.   IOWs, Put Up or Shut Up.

After a very fast and I mean very fast cursory read, it all reads as sour grapes. Writers who find it atrocious there's ways around the IRS if you have the tax team to do the leg work.

Funny how this comes to light so soon before the debate.

I don't care about his taxes or his empire. He's made his argument for president in 2016 and has done an outstanding job. Promises made, promises kept.

C-19, I don't care, because Biden has nothing other than do what's already being done except mandates.

Combined, Trump initially paid almost $95 million in federal income taxes over the 18 years. He later managed to recoup most of that money, with interest, by applying for and receiving a $72.9 million tax refund, starting in 2010.

Its truly amazing to see those call names and post posts and not understand what they are posting.

I said many times, the wealthy don't pay taxes and all the BS talk about taxing the wealthy is BS also.

Said to make people like the OP feel better.

Many have NO idea how the system works, at all, yet say stuff that makes them look stupid, to the informed.

There is a video and book out Called Rich Dad, Poor dad. Nothing new in the Times stolen report under the sun.

I wish I had 95 million to loose and recoup.  :cooldude: and still maintain all that I have going on.

GO TRUMP :cooldude: :cooldude:

OH one last thing at least we have a president that pays taxes and legally uses the system to pay his fair share and not a  president who comes into office with NOTHING and now has many multi million dollar mansions.

Where ever the Times got his records from in a bit of slime ball journalism at least they got his records.

Unlike the past president that we could not get anything from including school records.

The Secret of the Ultra-Rich - Robert Kiyosaki, Kevin Harrington, Mark Timm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGk8pjC1nA4

I post this for the OP's mindset, he already chose his position in life and many others also have chosen. Its in this persons book and Thank God Trump and others have made the jump.

One more point for consideration

Trump did not lie when he said he knows the system better than anyone. He also is in a position and has the knowledge to know what the rich and powerful circles were doing also.

Why dont all you justice warriors fight against the Federal Reserve that gives us slave money?

You see Trump is in the position today of president because he chose it, unlike presidents of the past that others paid them and choose them and put them in a position for the power that position holds and mouthpiece. They were like actors, like Cortez paid to act, not to think and make things better. You wonder why they come in with nothing and go out wealthy?

ONE HUGE TAKEAWAY FROM ALL THIS

It's this simple.

There is no amount or quality of negative information about our president (true or false, and it's mostly false) that could ever overcome the Democratic party's platform and plan to destroy America, our individual liberties, and our constitution.

As much as you may hate him, we hate you (and everything you stand for) more.

So instead of attacking our president, how about convincing us your plan is better.  (and good luck with that)

the poor clintons now rich

In 2000, Bill and Hillary Clinton claimed they owed millions of dollars in legal debt. Since then, they've earned several hundred million in USD. Where did the money come from? The author shows who is really behind those enormous payments, for example high-six figures fees for speaking gigs. He follows the Clinton money trail, revealing the connection between their personal fortune, their close personal friends, the Clinton Foundation, foreign nations, and some of the highest ranks of government. Clintons' troubling dealings in Kazakhstan, Colombia, Haiti, and other places at the wild west fringe of the global economy are revealed. Troubling facts are uncovered. The Clinton Cash is meticulously researched and scrupulously sourced. It raises serious questions of judgment, of possible indebtedness to an array of foreign interests, and ultimately, of fitness for high public office.

This is how it worked in practice. Bill Clinton flew around the world making speeches and promoting his reputation as a global humanitarian and wise man. Very often on these trips he was accompanied by close friends or associates who happened to have business interests pending in these countries. Introductions were made, deals struck, photo ops arranged before admiring foreign press. Meanwhile, bureaucratic or legislative obstacles were mysteriously cleared or approvals granted within the purview of his wife, the powerful senator or secretary of state. Huge donations then flowed into the Clinton Foundation while Bill received enormous speaking fees underwritten by the very businessmen who benefited from these apparent interventions.
According to New York Times Bill Clinton made 109 million USD in 8 years from these speeches!

the poor obamas now rich

Why Is Multi-Millionaire Obama Getting Millions In Taxpayer Subsidies?

remember their speeches are UN globalist agendas.  if one takes the time and knows the UN agendas their speeches are mainly UN agenda.

By his own admission, Barack Obama is now fabulously rich. So why are middle-class taxpayers paying him roughly a million dollars each year?

According to the New York Post, Barack and Michelle Obama are "on their way to becoming a billionaire brand."

The article notes the many ways the Obama's are turning eight years in the White House into an episode of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."

Michelle earned a $65 million advance on her book, "Becoming." She's also making beaucoup bucks on a speaking tour. Ticket prices for her "Conversation With Michelle Obama" in Brooklyn next month range up to $4,070. There will also be plenty of money made on merchandise sales.
Multimillion-Dollar Deal

The Obamas also signed a $50 million deal with Netflix to produce programs that "promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples and help them share their stories with the entire world."

The Post goes on to note that Barack Obama now commands $400,0000 per speech. Last year, he pulled down $1.2 million for three talks to Wall Street firms. Michelle can command $225,000 for a speech.

Let's look at this closely. Right before the debate this "story" comes out. Surprise, surprise, the Biden campaign has an ad about how much the average working person pays in taxes, school teacher, fireman, ect. in less than 24 hrs! If you are not smart enough to recognize a hit job like this you should probably count to at least ten before you post something that makes you look foolish. You audience here are not Democratic lap dogs waiting for someone to hand them a treat.

Plan?   What I've seen is the "Plan" is to give away as much as possible to get more votes so the power will shift to Left's side.

I don't have a lot of confidence President Trump will win this election but, by salvaging SCOTUS, he earned my vote.   By filling as many federal jurist positions as possible, he earned my vote, by making Americans first, he earned my vote.   Show me where he broke a law and we can discuss.   Till then, keep filling out those mail in ballots the left loves so much.   Just a reminder, you're really only supposed to send in ONE.

All those 'comparisons' are not what this story is about.

And the non-payment of his taxes is not the biggest part of this story. The huge debt that he's carrying, over $421,000,000, (that is known) that is due in the next four years, is. Who does he owe this money to? US banks won't have anything to do with him because they've been stiffed too many times in the past. Hmmmmm.

And no one here is trying to change anyone's mind. We know there is absolutely nothing too heinous that his supporters, (that means many of you guys), won't excuse, embrace, or celebrate.

Well Alien...here we go again. Young man, you really need to find a more productive and worthwhile way to spend your time. You know full well none of the junk you post re. Trump is going to change anyone's mind, so why do it? What most of your and other's posts reflect is you're basing the value of the man solely on his character and not what he has accomplished. He's done more for the country in four years than Biden has in forty and got rid of a lot of obama's crap in the process. In the end, how about checking to see how much the two Bidens paid in income tax on the money received during their travels. When it comes to a person's character, Biden's record is far from pristine.  Really....give it a rest!

Questions about the "mothership"

State count ?

Dan

LOLOL...

Look at all the whatabouts getting thrown around on here......

Hmmmmm.

He's trying to win reelection to stay out of prison.

And no one here is trying to change anyone's mind. We know there is absolutely nothing too heinous that his supporters, (that means many of you guys), won't excuse, embrace, or celebrate.

The chickens are finally coming home to roost. It's a good day.

What a dumbass response  :uglystupid2:

The OP title "The Presidents (PLURAL) Taxes"

This means "more than one president"  :crazy2:

Per the OP, all those 'comparisons' are exactly what this is about

Yes, the shitbirds are roosting - and the TDS reins for the morons.

Whatabout it, understand English, dumbass?

Watch the pot stirrer go back and change the title to suit his narrow minded narrative - familiar tactic, no?

It comes down to one of two things.  Either he has lied about what a successful high power CEO he is and he's actually a huge failure at every venture he touches or his taxes are bogus.  One way or the other, he's lying to you.

Ummm, no.

The article is about your guy. The whatabouts are from responses to the OP...

I'm truly sorry if you're feeling a mite overwrought about the most current events.

Take a deep breath, it'll get better soon.

You should really try to control your name calling. Your post may get deleted.

Have a nice day.
