There are several definitions of the word "cult."  Definitions 1 and 3 apply here.

cult
/kəlt/
noun

1. A system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.
"the cult of St. Olaf"

2. A relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.
"a network of Satan-worshiping cults"

3. A misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.
"a cult of personality surrounding the leaders"

I remember the last time I watched NBC news with Lester Holt. I don't
mean the last time I happened to watch it, I mean the last time I ever
plan to watch it. He was telling a story about a "good samaritan" who
was hiding law-breakers and others who were ignoring the curfew
from the police, as if "the good samaritan" was Miep Gies hiding
Anne Frank from the Nazis.

That's kind of like calling us a "cult", don't you think?

I am calling the people who are grouping up on the sidewalks with no masks part of a cult. I consider those who go to the rallies all bunched up part of the cult. Are all Trump supporters part of this cult ? No, absolutely not. I do consider some here part of that cult. Not many, but some. If you felt I was including you in this cult, I apologize.

Please don't apologize! You were sincere. You can explain it any way you wish but as an adamant supporter of Trump I don't like it, I don't think it is accurate, it's no different than the deplorables label. But carry on, you are on a mission, a person has to recognize and accept things as they are.

It would appear to me that despite evidence to the contrary the mask belief seems to have a cult-like following.   ;)

Wow.  This is not good.

Evading the oxygen question repeatedly and evading the lung damage question.  Most of the docs there are pulmonary critical care docs.

This has clearly been more serious than we are being told.

Not that this is anything new.  Every administration lies about the President's health.

I thought you said you wished him well, but you seem to looking for (reveling in) bad news.

Dr. Conley clearly stated that Trump's O2 sat is 96% while up and walking around without supplemental O2 (which is quite good BTW).  2 of the doctors clearly stated that he has had no difficulty breathing or shortness of breath at all.  I have a feeling they may have put him on oxygen briefly either before or during transport to the hospital, which would not be unusual.

Please understand that this is not the case.  I would NEVER wish another human being any kind of harm or sufferring and the absolute last thing that this country needs right now would be for the President to be gravely ill.

I'm just reacting to what I am seeing and reading between the lines with my medical training and the knowledge that as long as the our country has existed, the severity of any sitting President's health issues have always been downplayed.   Wilson's flu and stroke, FDR's stroke, Eisenhauer's stroke and heart attacks, Kennedy's Addisons, Reagan's near death after he was shot and his Alzeheimers...

I don't quite believe that everything is exactly as we are being told.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I hope I am.

BTW, even Biden declined to criticize Trump's physicians not releasing every detail.

"I'm not being critical of the fact that every single detail was not released.  There is the HIPAA rules that even apply to the president, but they have consequences for a president beyond the rules relating to what is able to be done and not done without a patient's permission.  They have national security implications as well."

The interesting part is what happens when all these Trump people and Trump don't die?

I think this has been all over blown. "He has covid, hope he makes it through the night." ????? It just isn't true, the death rate is very low under 1%. The chance of a healthy person dying are very, very low.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Did you guys see the NY governor threaten religious groups to get their crap together or be banned from assembling? I'm also wondering how that will work out.

Your all opinions on now that Trump and his staff/friends have Covid,  do you think this will hurt his re-election chance in November?   I am pretty sure it will put a nail in his coffin having Covid now drastically hurting his chances of being re-elected, agree?  Not that Biden is any better, but Trump brushing off this Covid as a normal flu virus bug is making him look not too smart IMO

maybe u should read biden's 110pg manifesto. your smart guy don't think u would still vote for him once u read and understand it.   then read UN 2030 Agenda same agendas.  https://www.naturalnews.com/051058_2030_Agenda_United_Nations_global_enslavement.html

Remember obama said he wanted to transform American, he planted some ground work, Biden and the people behind him who really will be running the country will implement. They are globalist and their plan is no more boarders, no more USC, etc.

The Joe Biden-Bernie Sanders "unity platform" consists of 110 pages of far-left policies that will "adversely harm the workers in this country, the families in this country, [and] the communities in this country" if implemented,

https://www.independentsentinel.com/biden-sanders-plan-for-america-that-no-one-is-talking-about/

Under Biden's manifesto, "Climate change is a global emergency" which requires "decarbonizing" American industries and eliminating carbon dioxide emissions to "net zero."

It is the Green New Deal on steroids.

It will eliminate fossil fuel power by 2035, aka "commit to eliminating carbon pollution from power plants by 2035."

Within five years, "we will install 500 million solar panels, including eight million solar roofs and community solar energy systems, and 60,000 made-in-America wind turbines."

Note there's no mention of "made-in-America" solar panels. The only way to install 500 million solar panels in five years is to buy them from China. In other countries, such as Australia, which have gone down this path, the result is cheap, shoddy solar systems that fall apart within five years.

Of course, we will have to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement, and pay the Green Climate Fund, the United Nations slush fund which gives grants to China, even though China doesn't contribute a cent.

This is a straight transfer of American taxpayer funds to the Chinese Communist Party. Way to go, Joe.

Hilariously, the document claims this will all result in lower electricity bills.

It's a fantasy. America's prosperity has been built on cheap fossil fuel energy. That will end with Biden's plan. Where will baseload power come from when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow?

Almost two-thirds of our electricity comes from fossil fuels and the experience of countries such as Australia and Germany is that switching to wind and solar drives up the cost of electricity.

Take California, which has mandated zero emissions by 2045. Electricity prices there are 60 percent more, on average, than in the rest of the United States and rose five times faster between 2011 and 2017, according to a study by Environmental Progress.

Naturally, the nation's most radical green groups are rooster-a-hoop about the Biden-Sanders manifesto.

The word "union" appears 49 times in the document and "working families" 17 times, as Biden pretends that high-paying fossil fuel jobs and pensions in places such as Pennsylvania and Ohio will be magically transformed into new climate jobs, building wind turbines and electric cars and climate-retrofitting 4 million homes.

To pay for all this, Biden promises to increase taxes. At least he's honest about it.

He'll hike the top income-tax rate by almost two points and the corporate tax rate by seven points, undoing the engine that kickstarted Trump's economy.

In other words, he plans to punish the wealth creators and redistribute their money to an ever-expanding class of supplicants. Not that it will be enough.

There's a lot more to fear in the 50,000-word manifesto.

Biden will abandon school choice and eliminate or hobble charter schools. That fits with his comments in May to an MSNBC public education forum when he said, "Charter schools are gone."

He will also "eliminate high-stakes standardized tests that unfairly label students."

Crime, too, will follow the de Blasio model which has been so successful in driving up crime rates in New York.

"Eliminating the use of cash bail" tops the list, along with "decriminalize marijuana use."

A little clarity about the left wing media misinformation re the President.

Trump had told Maria Bartiromo that he "figured there would be a chance"  he'd catch the virus because he's often in close contact with people.

"Sometimes, I'd be in groups of, for instance, Gold Star families. I met with Gold Star families. I didn't want to cancel that," Trump explained. "But they all came in, and they all talk about their son and daughter and father. And, you know, they all came up to me, and they tell me a story."

"I can't say, 'Back up, stand 10 feet,' you know? I just can't do it," Trump added. "They want to hug me, and they want to kiss me. And they do. And, frankly, I'm not telling them to back up. I'm not doing it."

HE may be an ass alot of the time, but at least he has enough humanity to recognize what these Families needed.

Why do you think this would have an effect on the Election?
