went up to Kansas City and got my black Interstate and she ran like a dream all the way back, but by the time I got to Daytona I had to stop and get an ultimate seat since my butt couldn't take the stock seat any more lol, as soon as I can figure out how to post some pics here I will put up some pics.

Happy to hear you had a safe and smooth ride home. The new seat will feel much better on the next long haul.  :cooldude:

I use "postimage" , it's free, set up a user name/password. log  into it on your phone and drop pics in a folder, then from laptop sign in and copy under "hot link for forums" then on your reply thread right click and paste.

Amazing bikes for sure. Glad you had a great trip.

Pappy!

Nothing like a nice long "get acquainted" ride to seal the deal. Apparently she had you wrapped around her little finger by Daytona!
Glad you had a great ride and look forward to seeing your new gal.

Congrats on the new valk. Glad you had a safe trip back. You'll love your new seat. Still need to get one for my interstate, but love the one on the tourer.

Looking good.  On the Cobra pipes.  If they are like mine were they are just a bit loud.  I wrapped some fiberglass from a boat repair kit around each baffle and used stainless steel wire to hold it on.  I also welded a freeze plug in the rear opening and drilled a 9/16" hole in the freeze plug.  Seemed to make it just loud enough.  I had tried TBR pipes once but they were too loud, gave me a headache.

I'm going to just cut the baffles down to about three inchs like I did my tourer I had! Everyone said it had the sound of a 57 Chevy and I just know I loved the sound!

Great Looking Machine.
Looking at the pics and times,
you changed your seats in under 3 hours ?
