Perhaps you're right.  But, it's the globalists "commies" that are pushing the mask mandates to begin with.  So my fear would be them creating a nationwide mandate.  Then using facial recognition technology to identify all those who dare not obey.  Ruling class exempt, of course.

I recognize the sarcasm.  And I don't disagree with your limitations to wearing masks.  It just made me think about how that kind of technology can be used against US by a tyrannical government.  It's only logical it's the sort of thing they would do.
