This a post from Randy Hornsby on Honda Valkyrie FB.
Maybe someone can help?

Hope everyone is safe and staying warm. I joined group last month and posted 98 Valkyrie I aqquired after my brother inlaw Bill aka Grumpy passed. Question hoping yall can help. The bike sat for almost a year. Has fresh gas and additive. It turns over no issue but will not fire at all. Not even trying. Any help would be much appreciated. Randy

A common thing for Valkyries is to have a battery that
can spin the motor but not have enough juice to also
get it to fire up... it's good to start with easy stuff  :cooldude:

Push the choke a little further the first inch or so doesn't do anything it will be a hard push to open up the choke all the way.

That has been suggested. Problem is, all kinds of suggestions are being made on FB. I would hate to see him put more problems in it. I was hoping that someone knows him and can help him. Looks like he lives in Crestview Fl.

Thanks Jeff, i gave him the information in a PM. I do not know him and never met Grumpy. I suggested the choke not being fully engaged and the possibility of the battery not being fully charged. Suggestions on FB are all over the place and can cause more problems than you are trying to fix. I just thought being Grumoy's old bike, someone should help.

I told him on FB to join the VRCC Forum and check out the Florida Chapter.

No call as of yet. If you communicate with him again let him know he won't be the only one with a valkyrie problem that I help when I can.
