Police say they believe the explosion was intentional.

The broadcast announcement of a bomb makes it somewhat likely it was intentional.  

One officer, according to police, experienced hearing loss from the explosion and it is unclear whether it will be temporary or permanent

The FBI is investigating along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Nine hours now and they have not reported a likely right wing extremest (they're slow on Christmas).

Our cell phones have no signal and the local Lexington tv station says it is due to the Nashville explosion. We're at least 200 miles away as the crow flies.

It probably depends on who your cell carrier is, or their underling carrier. Since it was the AT&T building right close to the explosion - if you're on AT&T  / your underlying carrier is AT&T......

there was a white box van in lebanon today going down the road playing Downtown real loud and the police pulled him over and they shut down the hwy and had all kinds of bomb equipt and people there. turned out to be nothing but that guy is in a heap of trouble boy..
edit. lebanon is about 25 miles from nashville east..
