No wonder no one in congress read the bill, I'm sure all those interested in other wordily things will be overjoyed at this. But why now, why in this bill?

The provision received very little attention in part because it wasn't included in the text of the 5,593-page legislation, but as a "committee comment" attached to the annual intelligence authorization act, which was rolled into the massive bill.

The report must address "observed airborne objects that have not been identified" and should include a "detailed analysis of unidentified phenomena data collected by: a. geospatial intelligence; b. signals intelligence; c. human intelligence; and d. measurement and signals intelligence," the committee said.

What I think we need is a rule where each new bill/law can only be on one stand-alone subject at a time.

Those penis inhalers stuff all kinds of BS in every bill that has nothing whatsoever to do with the main part (or name) of the bill.  It's hide the ball trickeration of the first order.  And it's PORK, nearly every time.

Another rule they need is to have the name of every bill actually be truthful, instead of a bald face lie (like the affordable healthcare act).
