While I don't agree with him I think it common curtesy for husband and wife to do all they can to be attractive in appearance and action to their husband or wife.

He presented it by the worlds interpretation and not Gods heart. But that would not be anything new in many of the churchs of today.

Eph 5:24  As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.
Eph 5:25  For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up His life for her
Eph 5:26  to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God's word.
Eph 5:27  He did this to present her to Himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.
Eph 5:28  In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.
Eph 5:29  No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church.

I dont know of any relationship without problems, but I dont know of any problems God cannot solve either.

I don't strongly agree with what he said (the way he said it) but I don't necessarily disagree either. Wives should strive to look good sexually for their husbands and be interested in having sex frequently but it goes both ways. The husband should do the same. That pastor possibly doesn't practice what he preaches

It takes two.
Both parties have to have the respect and desire for the other.   If not, then it just ain't gonna work.

Why get dressed up and sexy looking if, the other party doesn't show some appreciation, mutual respect and reciprocation.   As we go through life, we start to lose appreciation for what our partners do for us.  If, one allows the fire to burn down to where it's only coals left to keep the relationship warm, there's gonna be some cold nights...  Stoke that fire with some new fuel now and then.   Also, try walking in her shoes for a mile, it ain't always easy.  (Especially if she wears high heels.)   Don't ask me how I know this.
