Wet Western Carolina

  Well it has been a very wet Western Carolina so far this week. Vacationing in Cashiers/Sapphire Valley area with great spots to enjoy. Not on the bike and I hate to say I'm glad.  The wife and I did get a 7 mile hike in yesterday between the rain. We started around 10 am and finished 3. Then by 5pm it rained till 1 pm today. Lots of water on top of the rains already. If you're an out door reptile born in water you'd like the past several days. This guy does if you can make him out let me know what you think it is, a beautiful specimen.  Kind of hard to see though but the ladies are out looking for him. He is native to NC.

It ain't no Gila Monster that is for sure. You are just down the street from by future home. We have 1.5 acres in Sylva.   And any vacation away from work is a good vacation.  Heck I love rain if on the porch.
