Stock Tall Windshield Mod

To those of you that have done the lower bracket extension modification on the OEM Tall Honda shield...
I see quite a large gap in the photo's. between the bottom of the shield and the headlight. Can the top bracket/bar be repositioned downward to lower the shield and close the gap? I want the base of the shield close to the top of the headlight bezel.

IMO, I just dont think it worth the effort. I tried to post pics, but just could not get it to work.  I have a 1.75 inch bracket on the bottom of the tall OEM windshield and 1.5" gap to top of headlight.  I look through the screen and experience no buffeting. Best, Terrell

u want the gap. prevents back pressure vacuum reducing the exhaust from coming back onto passengers and also reduces turbulence by equalizing pressures on both sides of the windshield.  many sites out there describing this.

Since the stock unmodified windshield does not have this same gap.  Are you saying with the stock unmodified shield, without the additional space above the headlight, your gassing the passengers?
