I suppose that for so many people to continue

I suppose that for so many people to continue to move here that is must be really something in other places.  The commute to work and home 17 wapping miles takes 50min to over an hour. And if I am seriously cut off two to three times one way it is not an exaggeration. Found ABS once this week already and was shocked I did not make contact. "Jerry you don't ride your bike to work anymore"  That would be a serious leg workout.

I had to laugh at the waitress where I had an early dinner today. She commented when I checked out that I'm leaving during rush hour so be careful out there. I kinda chuckled and told her rush hour here is less than 3:00am traffic on I-4 in Orlando. Only thing I don't like up here is I think they teach tailgating in driver's ed classes. My son-in-law won't ride his I/S on the I-41 here due to the "heavy" traffic, I told him I didn't notice.  ;)

Every city I know of has it's bad traffic areas.   Seems like it's always a "my needs are greater than your's" situation and I'm frequently getting cut off.   I always try to give the car ahead of me room for my braking which always results in someone else cutting me off as they cross traffic.   There are few courteous drivers out there any more.

But, last night I got a scare and a refreshing feeling of justice in action in very heavy traffic.

Was driving through one of those areas with my wife when a car pulled out in front of me.   They were turning left and cut me off to the point that I had to slam on my brakes causing the unmarked LEO in the car behind me to have to respond in a similar manner.    :tickedoff:

The offending driver did get his turn completed and headed on his way but, he didn't get far, the LEO turned on his lights and did a quick U Turn going after him.   I just smiled as I went on my way.
