At 90 passing a semi the front of the bike gets very light and a tad weavy

even 1800 wing engine vs. 1520cc valk no way would I ever see over say 42 mpg putzing along.  I tried once, ONLY once,  driving 50-55 mph slow going and smooth easy shifting for 1 tank of gas even used 91 octane and never seen over 40 all hwy mpg.  ONLY way I see 50 avg mpg is with my burgmann 650cc scooter daily driving it like I stole it.... or 63 mpg with my single cylinder 249cc scooter - LOL

Back to the Valk post...I've seen close to 50mpg in 5th cruising, usually less as I have a problem with my right hand. Always get better mileage two up as my right hand problem seems to be smoother when two up.

Don't know where to start. Got the bike last October was getting in the low 20's. After trying a few things I got 25 mpg if I rode it under 3200 rpm. I was not happy. I put a new air filter in it and rebuild the carburetors here is how it works now.
27-30 mpg if I ride like I stole it
31-33 cruiseing around 3800 rpm shifting 4500 rpm plus
35-37 when I can keep it under 3200 rpm which equates 73 mph on the highway.
