Hi all, hope you are well.
I have removed the rear wheel with the drive and shaft.
How to clean the other side pls? I mean the u  joint which stayed in the swing arm?
Im nearly ready to put everything back together so I would like to clean this part as well.
Thanks. Ride safe.

I've never cleaned the u-joint (Yoke) itself, just the shaft.
I ride a motorcycle because nothing transports me as quickly from where I am to who I am.

I've looked up there a few times. Putting grease on the u-joint end of the
drive shaft is probably good-enough maintenance. Unless you're somehow
getting a bunch of water up in there, the u-joint connection to the output
shaft is probably good. When you do end up going up in there, pulling the
boot off the u-joint and stuff, bring your curse-word dictionary with you
for when you're putting the boot back on  :cooldude:

A bit of grease on the drive shaft splines that engage the unjoint is all you need to do until such time the unjoint needs replaced.

Make sure you understand the sequence for assembling the rear drive for proper drive to wheel alignment.

Thanks all for your help. Its really appreciated as always!!
I will make sure Chris I will follow the proper procedure and sequence of putting all back together.
Now Im a bit delayed by the rear caliper as I found there the piston seal rings in bad condition so will need to find the repair kit somewhere. ( without long postage)
I have one kit for my standard valk but on the I/S the kit is different for the rear.
Take care and ride safe
