Browning Buckmark Contour Lite

With the price of ammo I was thinking of buying the above pistol , see:

Just wondering if anyone had thoughts to share since I have not bought a new handgun in about 20 years

I have had a buckmark for about 20 yrs !  Does not field strip or clean as easily as some....but it is just pure enjoyment on the cheap! The Ruger target pistols function just as well and are a little more affordable in my opinion but any thing throwing 22lr around reliably,accurately and cheaply is good entertainment! My buckmark get that done flawlessly !

THe Browning is just a sexy looking gun . I also rear the Smith and Wesson 22A is a decent gun and runs around 335 instead of 500 for the Browning.

I have seen the Browning for $415 online, but they are out of stock and then need to have it mailed to a fireamrs dealer in NJ who ads on $50-75 so might as well get it in NJ . I have all my paperwork in line ..It did take almost 4 months to do a change of address on my firearms card and about $75 for prints and such. What a bunch of bull. Maybe I just should have stopped in Newark or Camden and bought a gun on the street LOL. The government is good at keeping the guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. I used to think the NRA people were a bit over the top, but the more I think about it, our government is slowly taking away and regulating our freedoms that we take for granted. Most people in the US are too complacent to care  or notice

I've heard good things about the Browning Buckmark.

I own an older Browning, the Medalist. Lots of rounds through it in competition in the past, very few alibies.

Since I can't see the sights very well, I use the Ruger Single Six with a red dot now.

I am a Glock shooter. I have a Buckmark with the 4 " barrel that shoots great and eats even the cheap .22 rounds. Great gun to teach the kids to shoot when they were younger and my daughter (at 25 yoa) and her boyfriend used it in their CC class. I liked and bought it because the angle of the grip was very close to that of my Glock and I would have the same wrist/grip position with both guns.

I had a buckmark and couldnt have been happier. I gave it to my son for his 21st b-day.
bought myself a S&W model 41. I am not a good enough shot to tell the difference
