Gathering in N. FL continued part II Back up plan

I reached out to my friend at the Staybridge Inn. We can postpone the Gathering in Tallahassee to
Nov. 11-14 if we choose to do so. We can secure the same rooms those dates if needed but i need your thoughts to see if we want to do that. Let me know ASAP

  OK after hearing from a few of you I've decided to Postpone the event for this weekend.  I have secured the same 10 rooms for Nov. 11-14. These rooms are efficiency rooms however, meaning Queen size bed and no pullout. The rate will not change, be the same as before. You will have to call and make New reservations the others have been canceled. Right now there is a 3 week cancelation policy so by Oct. 22nd there is no pealty to cancel. I'm trying to see if I can get that reduced but there is a BIG HS Cross Country track meet and BIG events they get $250 for the rooms. Fingers crossed if we can get a week out cancelation or even 2 weeks out. Identify yourself like before, Valkyrie Gathering!  It will be dryer and cooler in Nov. There is No FSU game. Sorry for this folks.

   Ok, I have secured 10 rooms for the dates above. I can't get more at this time but if we fill these we can get on a waiting list. There is a Big HS cross country meet going on in Tallahassee. These rooms are efficiency rooms only, meaning Queen bed and No pull out. The rate is still the same however   My friend said that these rates are $225 when Special events are happening. I hope many of you can make the change to Nov. It will be cooler too. Make your reservations just like before at
850-719-7000.   WE HAVE TO BOOK THESE ROOMS ASAP. So BY OCT. 22nd if you have reserved your room and have to cancel they require a 3 week notice. The Oct 22nd is the cancelation date. I am trying to see if we can get a 1-2 week cancelation date. Good luck

Just got off the phone this morning 8:30 on 10-28 and booked the last room, but only Thursday and Friday.  They said the Saturday night reservation was taken, so Im headed back to Daytona on Saturday.

Good morning MotoRod.  Not sure of the date you posted but if it should be 10-20 Sorry to hear that but I have good news.......     Unless you want to go back early that is up to you but I have family in Tallahassee and very close to the hotel. So I reserved a room in my name  just in case something like this happened. So if you want you can have my reservation and I'll take yours. Don't cancel your reservation unless something comes up and you can't come to the Gathering.   
    If you'd like to stay thru Sunday like the group you can use my reservation. What you think

FYI, if anyone was looking forward to visiting RedHills Powersports any time soon... I have bad news, they burnt down this past Saturday.  The fire was discovered around 5:00am and it is reported to be a total loss.
