Copied this from Teds Facebook Page!

The Lord stopped by this morning to take Ted on his heart's-desire fishing trip. They're probably sitting on the bank of the river, lines in the water, sharing "fish" tales. Ted sure was a great fisher of men.
Since I've known him, Ted's heart has always been for everyone to fall in love with Jesus. He would always tell me that God's will is that NONE should perish. He tried his hardest to spread the love of Jesus to all.
In lieu of a service, the only thing Ted wanted was for each of you "to smile at everyone and do good to others." I can almost hear Jesus now saying "well done, good and faithful servant." And Ted answering back "Glory to God!!"

God's Speed KCK.

Another good friend gone...hard to take just now. We rode together to the last Honda Homecoming where he encouraged me to enter my bike in the show. We worked together to give it one last wipe down and cleaning and I came away with Best of Class and Best of Show. I always teased him about that, claiming he had bribed the judges. He scared the crap out of me on the way back to Columbus with those huge air horns he had mounted. Another time we rode together to an InZane a few hours south of Columbus, OH...wish I could recall which one. Might have been the second Paducah gathering but not sure. My sis-in-law lives in the Columbus area and every time we visited her I got in touch with Ted, often driving down to visit him at home...still have his phone # in my cell listing.  :'(  Just remember...no tears past the gate.  :)

Thanks for the update Mark. I can't remember the last time I saw Ted. Might have been one of the last Covered Bridge rides. The original "Honda Davidson". God's speed Ted.... :'(

Sounds like someone I wish I had known.  Blessing and comfort to his family and friends.
"I am not a courageous person by nature. I have simply discovered that, at certain key moments in this life, you must find courage in yourself, in order to move forward and live. It is like a muscle and it must be exercised, first a little, and then more and more.  A deep breath and a leap."

One of many reasons I wish I'd started attending IZ's sooner, don't believe I ever met him, and sounds like I'm a poorer man for that...
Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

The Waffle House was never a safe place when Tedly was around.  Neither were the fish when he approached the water's edge.  Reap your reward in our Father's Mansion Ted.  Condolences to his family.

I am sad for us but rejoice for him. Each mans days are numbered, its the fate of us all, but on that day when we are in His presence all will be well. Especially when one day we see our loved ones again and rejoice in the presence of Him who gave His life for us.

My condolences to those left behind.
