Leak at clutch slave cylinder connection

Got around to finally replacing slave cylinder. Installed and then reconnected all lines. Started bleeding and kept getting leak at the hose connection shown below. First was near the top of the bolt, now it's where the crush washer meets the body. Both crush washers are new.
Anyone run into this before and if so, how did you fix it?
Could it possibly be the new body has a crack in it at the connection location?

I'm stumped.

Check the threads on the banjo bolt for damage, remove and clean the washers and banjo fitting to be sure there is no foreign material between them preventing a seal.

If all looks good go to parts store and purchase a new crush washer

perhaps, put back the old clutch slave housing.

That's one abused banjo bolt! If brake fluid can find a place it leak,
it will. Maybe if you put the right wrench on a new banjo bolt you
could tighten away the leak?

No sir, there's nothing wrong with the bolt head. Loosened and tightened with no issues. I think you're just seeing where the paint has come off.

Guess this coming weekend I'll start from scratch and see what I can find. I'll keep ya'll posted on the outcome.

It is a bummer to have to release all the fluid by taking that back off,
but if it is leaking there, that's where the problem is. Like meathead
mentioned, a bit of grit, some kind of burr, something right there. I feel
like I have to really tighten down on banjo bolts to prevent leaks... I
have copper crush washers because that's what NAPA had to sell me.

Are you sure it is leaking there and not running to there from someplace
else?

That's what I'm planning on for this upcoming weekend. Going to check all parts for any damage and try to pinpoint the leak.
