From what I've heard, it will be on Main Street Broodville. Dates are March 18/19 and 20. Complete with vendors, a bike show and FOOD too.

Worth a 25 mile ride on a nice day, on the final day. I don't get excited about multiple day celebrations of anything.

I'm going to try to come. Any recommendations for a hotel in the area? I'll try and come with a few others.

At I-75 Exit 301 there is Days Inn; Holiday Inn Express & Suites; Hampton Inn; and Microtel Inn & Suites. Maybe listed as Dade City; Brooksville; or Ridge Manor. All about 9 - 10 miles East of Downtown Brooksville. Not much at all closer than that, except a Bed & Breakfast and a couple of Non- Chain Motels. The Speedway station with The Dumpster is between I-75 and Downtown, on SR 50.

I won't be there. I have to be at Tampa Airport by 3:30 AM, probably won't leave there until about 5:30 AM, and I will most like be going home to bed. It is possible, but not likely, that I will be there.

Bronxboy

I am always up at the dumpster around 9am so if u want to do this Saturday, I will tag along

Dagwood

I'm going to try and be there, ain't payin those prices for a hotel for an overnight. This would be my last gig before I pull the RV back to Michigan via a month layover in Murphy NC. If there's a meetup place there let me know here or text me at 6one68three6eight166.

So, how does the Brooksville Bikefest stack up against the Leesburg Bike Fest?  I wish I could have made it yesterday, but we were visiting with my cousin from Western Naryland.

Brooksville's event was a lot smaller. You could find a place to park or pay to park. I probably parked a block away. Found a place easily. Lots of Harleys.

Squirrel

Thanks, Ridingron.  I don't mind smaller events.  And, I don't mind a lot of Harleys either.  I'm proud of what I ride, so to each their own.  Can you imagine how dull it would be if everyone ride and Harley or vice versa?  I love it when I go to bike gatherings and I have the only Valk there.  It gives me a chance to show the nickel trick.  Lol
