Funny, deserved, just plain dumb or, just hasn't happened to me yet?

And that's why I never lane split...at any speed. This guy looked like he was going too fast but should have been smart enough to recognize the opening he was approaching meant cross traffic since the light was green.

Regarding lane splitting/filtering, it is legal in some states.  If legal where this video was made who was at fault?

The car driver for failing to yield to the motorcyclist legally (if legal) riding between cars or the motorcyclist?

Also why I am not and will not be in favor of supporting approving of lane splitting/filtering.   Its not safe since it does take two to tango.

Well, I'm not a lane splitter either but the one that got me was the dudes popping and riding wheelies in traffic.  You just knew what was about to happen.    I was looking to see who was holding the beers.

all it takes is one guy in a car to open their door and BAMMO when lane splitting.  Reward not worth the risk IMO.

dumbest thing I ever seen and hopefully never see again was a crotch rocket coming at me on main 2 lane straight hwy., both of us doing 60 mph or more and he had metal skid shoes on standing BESIDE his cycle doing that insane speed holding onto handlebars and throwing up sparks from his shoes.   I did not stick around to see HOW he had the upper body strength to get his butt back on the seat of the cycle while doing hwy. speeds.

Youblube is full of videos just like this, dumb riders just asking for this outcome. Problem is you will also see the ones with the rider doing everything correct. Those are the ones that bother me.
