Okay, my shop is going to charge me $100 to sync my carbs.  The 6 channel digi sync is $225.  They have a special this month that if you send them a 30 second video of you using the product, they'll refund 15% of your purchase price.  So, if I get $35 back and save the $100 from the shop, this will only cost me $90.  If I use it every 2 years as I've heard suggested, after I use it the second time I've broken even.  Seems a no brainer to me, so long as I live another 2 years!

Now my question is, other than the long, angled needle nose pliers I've read about on here, are there any other "special" tools needed to sync the carbs?  BTW, there are NO good vids on youtube about how to do this.

As a footnote, are there any other riders in the PNW that might have one already and want to earn a little of their purchase price back?  If not, are there any that might want to use mine under the same conditions?  Say $15 a sync?

Sounds perfect.
I bought one myself before Christmas.  Just make sure you're buying the newer model, which I think has been oug for a year or two, rather than the older model.
Needle nose pliers was all I needed.

No special tools.  Just make sure you remove the 9V battery for long-term storage.  I place mine in a sealed Ziploc bag.  Avoids any unexpected surprises.

It's super easy. You won't have any problem. I'd post over on the Northwest board. There might be some that already have one and would loan it out.

I have the older model and wasn't aware of a change. What are the differences between them.
