Front rotor part numbers

The OEM parts sites show different part numbers for left and right, but EBC shows the same number for both. What am I missing? Is it the drill pattern of the OEM rotors?

they probably designed it so it fits either side of the front wheel. Guessing, though.

It is true that the OEM front rotors are side specific. They should not be interchanged and should be mounted with the direction arrows pointing the correct way for wheel rotation.

When I look at my rotors, I see that the holes go from inside to out, in the direction of rotation. I suppose this is to move anything caught in them nearer the edge. I can't imagine any other reason, as the drilled holes are mostly for looks, anyway. What gets me is that the prices listed are different, for otherwise identical rotors.

good to know that the front rotors are different. I wasn't aware of that until now though I did take both of them off and guess I got them right, didn't mix them up (bliss).

As a side note, GL1800 rotors are interchangeable. I had them on my previous Valk and liked them. They are lighter and .5mm thinner but it doesn't cause any problems.

It's easy to check. They have little arrows just like tires pointing (hopefully) in the direction of rotation
