Married 50 years today, same woman too! Always kidded my wife about coming up for parole but I'm afraid I'm completely institutionalized. So I guess I'll shoot for 75, have to think big!

Congratulations John.  :cooldude:

I made it to 3 and 23 (yrs), and avoided institutionalization both times.

Although the 2d time, it was a close thing.   ;D

50 years...congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment...I passed 40 years earlier this year and I get a lot of the "to the same woman?" comments...I guess it's more of a rarity these days.

Also, congratulations to your wife of course...perhaps it's even more of an accomplishment for her, as I've always thought it has been for my Mrs, putting up with and sticking with me all these years  ;)

Congrats to your wife also for putting up with you.  I'll be hitting 50 next March.  When my wife reminded me (because she want some expensive diamond earrings) I told her it sure seems longer than that.  Yah she puts up with me too.

Full disclosure, we can both make the other bite nails in two sometimes, but would be lost without each other. We suffer from the age old malady of she thought I would change (grow up) and I thought she would never change.

You lucky devil !!    :cooldude:

The wife and I celebrate 35 years on Monday, Aug 8.

With the combined number of years some of you have, you should team up and set up a couples advice webpage. You might not make a ton of money but I'd love to see some of the questions and certainly the answers.  ;D

I don't know about that, 50 years with the same woman would only offer a very narrow view. Now if your are on your fourth or fifth wife a person could offer a lot of varying insights!

It's simple really, you just say "Yes Dear!"

We hit 31 yrs in July.  I do put more value on the successful folks and their advise.  If you want to learn how to do something right you should go to the ones that made it, not the ones who never figures it out.

Congratulation to both of you. The wife and I made to 50 last April and we are still going. I have a 70 model CB750 I bought new in Japan when I was in the Navy, and she says I would sell her before I would sell that bike. I just say I have had both of you so long I am not getting rid of either.
